Roleplaying games.

Games like Dungeons and Dragons is the one that most people think of when you think role playing games or RPG’s. I have been reviewing RPGs in some capacity since 2009 but I have taken it to be something of a renewed passion since my early days with https://www.terriblewarriors.com in the early part of the 2010s with http://thisweekingeek.net/.

I have always considered doing something in the RPG industry but I didn’t know where I might fit in. As I have reviewed or played many games like Shadowrun, Dune,Star Wars, Vampire:The Masquerade,etc, I find myself finally figuring out where I want to be. I love the idea of creating lore and world building for games. I have found that creating locales, characters and things of that sort to be immensely rewarding. I think how thrilling it would be add my little bit of “canon” to some of my favorite universes with also being crossed with one of my favorite hobbies.

So,part of my ambition with this portfolio/website is to showcase ideas, projects and prompts and other stuff in the RPG space for a few different games.

I am hoping that staying in practice and learning enough to create in some familiar game spaces will allow me to actually pitch to game companies. I have some ideas where I want to go and who I want to work with and for.

I’m 40 years old so, what better time for a career change right?

Nothing ventured and nothing gained, so I might as well shoot my shot and do something wonderful,creative and try for dream.
