Native Canada

Wrapped in shrouded chain.
Forced to drink in,
unrelenting rain
They know of terror and pain.
Spirit unbroken,
They remain.
Standing tall on broken glass.
They maintain.
This land is their eternal domain.
Lies coated in honey,
and given in vain.
Curses fitted to restrain.
Fear and madness,
drive them insane.
Breaking free of bondage,
regain.
Songs echo,
across the silent plain.
Together they rise up,
Forever, they reign.
